Tristan started graduate school pickleball league and Annalea happened to join with her girlfriends! In our first conversation Tristan told Annalea all about Asheville, North Carolina and all of the trees there.

Tristan and Annalea ran into each other at the TCU Football game (West Virginia vs TCU) and could not get enough of each other. Instant sparks for sure, but still just friends. Tristan got Annalea's number this day.

Tristan and Annalea had their first date. Tristan picked her up in his car and took her out to a Beatles cover band in Plano, Texas. They had a blast and even had their first kiss, too (sorry mom!)

Tristan took me to the Arboretum for a date in Dallas. Annalea knew she was in trouble at this point and was really starting to fall for him.

Tristan asked Annalea to *officially* be his girlfriend.
